Big River Glass (BRG) recently completed its scope of work in early 2025 at The Waters at McGowin apartment complex, a multi-family development in Mobile, Alabama. , where we are fully licensed and operating (along with Louisiana, Florida, Mississippi, and soon Tennessee).
The Waters at McGowin is now fully functional and operating — and we are proud to have contributed to another successful multi-family development in a hurricane impact zone.

Built for Hurricane Impact Performance
Because Mobile is located in a hurricane impact zone, BRG installed Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope’s hurricane impact storefront system, impact-rated doors, and impact-resistant glass to meet strict coastal performance requirements.
Our team is extensively trained and highly experienced in hurricane impact systems, ensuring proper installation and long-term durability in demanding Gulf Coast environments.
