Big River Glass was proud to be part of a stunning new home build located on False River in New Roads.

This custom home was constructed by Exclusive Homes, and BRG completed the entire glass scope – both residential and commercial systems – providing a true turnkey solution with one subcontractor.

Because the home sits directly on False River, the design called for expansive views and an abundance of natural light. Large glass openings were essential to maximizing the waterfront setting.

One of the best ways to integrate large glass into a structure is through commercial storefront systems. While storefront is typically associated with commercial buildings, it can also be successfully used in residential settings to achieve:

• Larger uninterrupted glass spans

• Slim aluminum framing

• Increased structural performance

• Modern architectural aesthetics

For this project, commercial storefront systems allowed for wide, open views of the river while maintaining durability and long-term performance.

BRG handled the full glass package for this build – eliminating the need for multiple subcontractors and ensuring consistency in installation quality from start to finish.

This project is a great example of how commercial-grade systems can enhance high-end residential construction.
