Traditional office build-outs mean drywall, dust, weeks of construction, and walls you’re stuck with. Demountable wall systems change that equation. Big River Glass installs WX demountable glass wall systems – precision-engineered office fronts and partitions that go up fast, deliver real sound control, and can be reconfigured as your space and team change.

What “Demountable” Means

A demountable wall is a manufactured, modular system rather than a stick-built drywall partition. It’s engineered to be installed, taken down, moved, and reconfigured without the demolition and reconstruction that comes with conventional walls. For a growing or changing office, that’s the whole point – the walls can change when the floor plan does.

Why Baton Rouge Offices Are Choosing It

Fast installation: These systems install without major construction, so your office keeps working while it’s being upgraded – no weeks of drywall dust and downtime.

Slim-profile design: Clean sightlines and minimal framing keep spaces open and bright while still clearly defining rooms.

Real acoustic performance: Sound attenuation is engineered into the system, so glass conference rooms actually stay private instead of leaking every conversation.

Built to change: Demountable means exactly that. Reconfigure, relocate, or expand the layout later without tearing anything down – and in many cases the system can move with you.

A Smarter Investment

Because a demountable system is manufactured and reusable, it can be treated differently from permanent construction on the books, and it retains value because it can be relocated rather than demolished. For businesses that expect to grow or reconfigure, that flexibility often outweighs the up-front simplicity of drywall.
