Big River Glass is proud to have partnered with Buquet-LeBlanc General Contractors on a meaningful multi-scope project at St. Michael High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana – a project that made a real impact on one of Baton Rouge’s most beloved school campuses by helping upgrade their athletic facilities with a brand-new turf football field, running track, and a professionally installed pressbox.
CRL Pressbox Sliding Windows for the New Turf Football Field and Track
St. Michael High School completed a major campus upgrade with the installation of a brand-new turf football field and running track – and BRG was selected to supply and install the pressbox sliding windows that give the facility its finishing touch.
The pressbox windows installed at St. Michael High School are manufactured by CRL (C.R. Laurence) – one of the most respected names in the commercial glass and glazing industry. CRL designs and manufactures high-quality sliding service windows built for durability, smooth operation, and clear unobstructed sightlines – making them the ideal product for athletic pressbox applications.
Pressbox windows are a great way to transform and upgrade any football field facility. A properly outfitted pressbox gives coaches, media, announcers, and administrators a professional, functional space with clear sightlines to the field – and BRG’s installation at St. Michael ensures the new athletic complex has a pressbox that matches the quality and professional standard of the turf field and track below it.
This scope was completed in partnership with Buquet-LeBlanc General Contractors – a well-respected Baton Rouge-based general contracting firm with a strong track record of delivering quality construction projects throughout Louisiana.
Interior Storefronts and Doors for the Ministries Chapel
In addition to the athletic complex work, BRG also completed interior commercial storefronts and doors within St. Michael’s ministries chapel on campus. This portion of the project helped create a new, defined interior space – using glass storefronts and door systems to shape a functional, beautiful, and purposeful environment for the school’s ministry programs.
Interior storefront systems allow natural light to flow through the space while creating clear visual boundaries between areas – a perfect fit for a chapel environment where openness, warmth, and light all matter.
